An Entertainer of all Kinds
Hi! My name is Zach Shafer. I am an actor and entertainer based in the Columbus area. In 2023, I graduated from The Ohio State University with a BA in Theatre and a BA in Communication. Ever since then, I have been performing and entertaining all around central Ohio. I have acted in theatrical productions with professional and community companies, including Evolution Theatre Company, MadLab, Curtain Players, and more.
Outside of theatrical acting, I have also engaged in other forms of live entertainment. This includes working with costume characters and mascots, producing live events, and even a bit of directing.
Training and Education
Like many kids, my journey in performance began when I was young. I performed in my first musical in third grade as a part of the ensemble in Pinocchio. I fell in love with the stage and wanted to continue performing. Throughout grade school, I spend a lot of time in acting, singing, and dancing. I did theatre, show choir, band, and more.
After graduating from high school, I enrolled at Ohio State University. While I was at OSU, I participated in several shows in the theatre department, including on and off stage. I was a member of the student-run theatre organization Off the Lake, where I performed in numerous shows and community service projects. In 2023, I graduated with two Bachelor’s degrees and hopes of a career in entertainment.
